Dr Roberto Chacur published his second article on advanced cellulite treatment with GoldIncision presenting the case of 47 patients who underwent the method in 2021. All presented satisfactory results. The most common reactions were bleeding at the time of the procedure in all patients and the formation of hemosiderin in seven of them, which was later resolved.
The study published in the Global Journal of Medical Research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee with protocol number: 30867114.3.0000.5333. Click here to read GoldIncision’s article in full.
The main function of the article was to record the method step by step and the possible results. Cellulite treatment with GoldIncision should only be carried out by doctors with specific training, as it has differences such as the way of identifying cellulite, distributing the product, removing the septa and post care.
The procedures evaluated in the study were performed on the glutes, posterior, lateral and anterior thighs. The extent of the treated regions varied between small, medium, large and very large. A maximum of four sessions were required. The maximum amount of biostimulator used was 39.48mls. The most common reactions were bleeding at the time of the procedure in all patients and the formation of hemosiderin in seven of them, in addition to seroma, hematoma, nodule and pain, none of which was permanent.
The study proved to be effective and safe for treating cellulite, also contributing to improving skin quality due to the new collagen mesh, increased number of blood vessels, cellular nutrition and reduced sagging.
